The Five County Detention & Youth Rehabilitation Center completed a PREA Audit in June of 2014 pursuant to Section 115.401 of the PREA Standards. The Five County Rehabilitation Center is 100% PREA Compliant. Please feel free to review the Audit Findings report completed by the Department of Justice Auditor.
The Five County Detention & Youth Rehabilitation Center shall have its' third PREA Audit in 2021 pursuant to Section 115.401 of the PREA Standards. 5-C has a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual abuse and sexual harassment. The Center continues to provide training for all staff and juveniles on PREA Prevention Standards.
